Q1. Why should I buy from Desktop Option?
A1. Our Sales are based on the low price of the brand
name stock we sell, along with the excellent, ongoing
customer service and support from our dedicated and experienced
staff.
We buy in bulk and sell direct to pass our savings on
to you, the customer. These discounts allow you to replace,
expand or upgrade your IT equipment more often, letting
you take advantage of the rapid advancements in computer
technology, keeping you up to date and ahead of everyone

We offer PC buyers a genuine value alternative to our
overpriced competitors coupled to a unique, personal touch

Q2. How do I order online?
A2. Simply click on the item you wish to buy then click
the buy now button, fill in the form and press continue.
You will then be transferred to a secure server to complete
your transaction. If at any time you encounter any difficulties
our customer adviser will be only to happy to help - you
can call them Monday to Friday 10.00am to 6.00pm on 0870
3501561 or fill in the call me back form and we'll get
in touch with you.
Q3. How can I pay for my order?
A5. Desktop Option accept Visa, Switch, Mastercard and
Delta, all of which may be subject to a maximum 3% surcharge.
COD & Transax Orders:- Qualified U.K. customers may
pay for Cheque On Delivery (COD) with a personal or business
cheque that has been cleared by the TRANSAX Cheque Guarantee
System. All cheques must be faxed to Desktop Option with
a copy of the purchase order or sales order confirmation
prior to dispatch to ensure cheque clearance by the TRANSAX
system. Cheques may be subject to a maximum (2%) Transax
surcharge dependant on order value. Any cancelled or returned
cheques issued to Desktop Option will be subject to a
(10)% administration fee chargeable to the customer.
Q4. How long do you normally take to deliver
and can I have my order delivered next day?
A4. We aim to deliver all orders within five to sevem
days from confirmation of order. Next day delivery is
possible subject to availability, your account manager
will be able to advise you.

A6. Yes. Your account manager will be able to advise
you on the discounts we give to volume orders.

A7. Yes. We offer on site warranties with certain servers
and workstations. Please call your account manager for
more information.
Q8. Can I get an item sent outwith the UK?
A8. Unfortunately Desktop Option can only deliver within
the UK

A10. We take every effort to protect out customers from
the dangers of fraud. As a result we are required to ask
for some additional information. It is only by being vigilant
that e-commerce and phone ordering will continue to offer
the benefits easy access and value.
Q11. My order is damaged/ items are missing what
do I do?
A11. In the event of an incorrect order or damage to
items you have received please contact Desktop Option
Customer Services on 0870 3501561 within 12 hours of receipt
of your goods.
Q12. How do I cancel or return my order?
A12. If you wish to cancel or return an order please
contact one of our customer service representatives on
0870 3501561 and they will advise you. Please ensure you
have read our return policy.
Q13. What is Pc Option's return policy?
A13. Unless otherwise documented on the invoice the Desktop
Option will cover any second-user or refurbished items
with a seven-day repair or replace warranty. All warranties
are valid from date of invoice. All goods, other than
software, returned within the products warranty period
from date of invoice, with original receipt, are eligible
for repair or replacement. Desktop Option reserves the
right to replace or repair any faulty products or components
with either new or refurbished products dependent on requirements.
Desktop Option will not accept the return or exchange
of any item if the Desktop Option Serial Label has been
removed or broken. All Desktop Option warranties and technical
support will not cover any product, software or components
that has not been directly purchased from Desktop Option.
Any damage, fault or virus defecting the original Desktop
Option product occurring due to user modification, including
component and software implementation not supplied by
Desktop Option will not be covered by any Desktop Option
warranty and Desktop Option reserves the right to charge
for any labour, parts and delivery charges incurred. Desktop
Option telephone support will only cover goods supplied
by Desktop Option and will not cover any enquiries relating
to additional components or software purchased elsewhere.

cover?

still under warranty who do I contact?

and a course of action to follow.
